Breaking into the entertainment industry can be scary and confusing. Even once you break in, it’s still confusing! I created this blog to help screenwriters find the right direction to breaking into the industry and staying on course.

Who is behind Screenwriting Compass? Me. I represent writers and directors. I am going to remain anonymous so that I can be straight forward, honest and informative. Why should you listen to me? Well, you don’t have to, and many may have different opinions. But I will be giving my opinions based on years of experience working as a legitimate industry professional (yes, I work at a company you know and not out of my basement). There is no single correct answer to any situation, but the more you understand, the better prepared you will be to making the right decision. I hope this blog will help at least one writer!

If you have questions you would like answered, feel free to drop me a line at screenwritingcompass (at) g m a i l . com

Enjoy!

Screenwriting Compass is a blog created by an anonymous industry representative to guide and keep screenwriters on the right path. Read the things they don't teach you in film school. Feel free to email me your questions.
