Thanks, Agent X for addressing my question. Now here's a follow up of sorts: What qualities other than ability to write do you look for in a potential client? Is it personality--outgoing, quietly confident, etc.; professionalism--e.g. the ability to be patient and work with the agent and not against them; is it something intangible, something akin to a "gut-feeling" that this writer has what it takes? Or is something else? What qualities do you when you sign writing talent to represent?
